Now, I promised myself I would never blog about this at night because it really hits home when it's dark out. And here it is, 10:57 pm, and I am blogging for Beauty Holds Magic (they promote my artwork and jewelry, so I promote them!). The very first time I was in my apartment and was scared stiff was probably the creepiest. It was a nice Saturday in August 2011. It was early afternoon and I was doing some dishes, thinking about the recent events in my life and talking to my friend at the kitchen table. I'm finishing up the task at hand, when I remembered that I needed to grab something out of the bedroom. My friend, Charles, and I had been fooling around with an old baby moniter that was here when I moved in. We had been making funny noises, and at one point, I think he actually farted into the monitor. But that's not the point. The point is, we never turned it off. And just as I am turning off the faucet, we hear a woman's soft voice coming through the monitor. This is for real! She was singing a lullaby, in a soft, soothing voice. We could'nt quite figure out what she was saying, but it sounded very gentle. This story is just the beginning. But that day, not much else happened with the voice over the moniter. (We had turned it off and booked it out of the apartment! We were scared stiff!) Until next time, au revoir!
